ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sabbath Sermon
After a comprehensive series on Total Member Involvement (TMI) in the months of July and August, it's time to have a couple stand-alone sermons. "Let Go and Let God" (Deuteronomy 3:26) is a message for all of us as we wrestle with pain, disappointment, and anxiety. Come, listen to the Word, and leave it all at Jesus' feet!
Care Group Training
Our Church Camp was not an isolated event. It was connected to the TMI series in July-August and prepared the way for the direction God is giving to our church, namely to do nurture and outreach via Care Groups. As we move toward this goal, meaningful conversations, messages, and trainings are needed. This Sabbath, SDACC will have its first Care Group Training after the Fellowship Lunch at Hall 2 at 2:00 pm. Potential Care Group leaders and members have been personally asked to attend but the event is not exclusive. Everyone who has a heart for God and for our church is invited to join this training. May the Holy Spirit lead us as we learn to care for one another with a missional heart.
Fellowship Lunch
Everyone is welcome to join our Fellowship Lunch this Sabbath after the Worship Service. Let us enjoy making friends, savoring great food.
Holy Land Trip
From October 18-29, Pastor Roger and May will be on an educational trip to the Holy Land. Pastors and lay leaders from Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand will join this trip, as well. Please keep them in prayer as they embark on this journey and walked where Jesus walked.
