The weather was uncertain, but the 80 or so faithfuls
who came together at Sembawang Park around 10:00 a.m. on the Sabbath of
Sept 25 were not deterred.
We spent the next two hours in the beauty of nature, interacting with
each other in group activities, sharing testimonies of God’s goodness,
and singing praises to Him.
The song, “God’s Wonderful People,” expressed the sentiments we wished
to capture and experience through our theme of the day, “Affirming One
Another in Faith and Fellowship,” and I’m confident that we managed to
do just that before the rains came down during the lunch period.
The whole experience was pretty refreshing and I’m sure there will be
Round 3 in 2011.
